Basic Steps 1. Fill Out values for Width, Length and Eave Height (height from the ground to the roof) and pitch. 2. Click the first button labeled "Tubing", this is your basic tubing cost. 3. Ask the customers if they want the endwalls (front and back of the building) to be enclosed or open. - If enclosed enter the width into the next input boxes that apply. If they only want one enclosed only enter the width in that field. - If open leave these next two fields alone. 4. Click the next 1 or 2 buttons labeled "Front" and "Rear Endwall", only click the ones the customer wants enclosed. This is your endwall tubing cost. 5. Ask the customer if they want any Framed Openings (cutouts for doors and windows) - if Yes, type the dimensions for these openings in the next input fields. - if No, leave them blank. 6. Click the next button labeled "framed openings", this is your cost for tubing around the frames. 7. Next is panels, Ask the customer if they would like roofing panels - If Yes, Ask if they would like vertical (running from ridge to eave), or horizontal (running from endwall to endwall) 8. Click the next button that is appropriate. Example if they wanted panels on the roof that are vertical you would click the "Roofing" button under the "vertical" catagory. This is the roofing panels cost. - If they do not want roofing panels do not click any of these buttons, leave them blank. 9. Next Ask if they want panels on the sides. - If Yes, ask if they would like vertical (from the ground to the eave) or horizontal (from endwall to endwall). *We recommend vertical if they are not sure, better protection against weather. 10. Click the next appropriate button as with the roofing panels. Do not click the ones you don't need. 11. Now for the Endwall panels, If the Customer said that they wanted the endwalls framed in they will probably want panels, Click each button that applys, leave the ones you don't need blank. 12. Now you need to find the Hat Channels, only Vertical panels need Hat Channels. So If the customer wanted vertical roofing panels you would click the "roof hat channels" button. 13. Now determine what trim they need. -Ridge = if they want roofing panels then you need to click the "trim" button. -Eave = Eave is not required but is recommended, Ask if they would like Eave. -Gable Trim = -J-Trim = If they had any framed openings you will need to click this button. 14. Next Click the button labeled "screws" to get your screw cost. 15. Before you click "Total" make sure that only the values you want to add are blank. Remember Blank is not the same as "$0.00" some charges are added simply for having an option so a price of $0.00 will still add to the final cost. If you need to clear a field click the red "X" next to it. 16. Click Total *Tax is included in the final cost, remember this is an estimate so remember to remind the customer that this is gettin them around what it will be but small changes may happen.
